Travis Kelce recently addressed breakup rumours about his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift. He clarified that they have been dating for over a year despite rumours of a breakup. In the latest episode of the podcast New Heights, co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs expressed that he has been absolutely happy with Taylor.

During the episode, Travis, Jason, and their Grotesquerie co-star Niecy Nash discussed the couple’s high-profile romance. Niecy revealed that people began texting her with questions about Travis shortly after they started working together on his debut project. She recounted, “They started off saying, ‘We’re watching the show. Is he the killer?’ just to spark a conversation.”

As the discussion turned to the relationship of Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift, particularly amid the breakup rumours, Niecy said she didn’t respond to intrusive questions, asserting, “I’m like, ‘Get out of that man’s business!’” Her candid remarks had the NFL star laughing. Niecy added that she considers herself a vault, noting that nosy people wouldn’t get any information from her.

Travis thanked his co-star for her support, saying, “Every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love.” He reassured listeners that he and Taylor are genuinely happy together, stating, “You know it’s real. And you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy, and I appreciate you always making sure everybody knows that.”

Taylor-Travis breakup rumours

Travis’ comments came just two months after a fake plan detailing their supposed breakup circulated on social media, which his publicity team labelled as false and fabricated. Since then, Travis and Taylor have been spotted displaying affection on several occasions.

Recently, a report from Page Six suggested that an engagement could be on the horizon for the couple. Friends close to the couple believe they have grown particularly close over the past year. A source noted that Taylor feels safer with Travis than with anyone else, sharing, “She knows he would do anything for her, and physically she feels protected by him. It’s a relatively new feeling for her in terms of relationships.” Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s highly successful Eras Tour is set to conclude on December 8.
